WATER FALLS :UMRANGSO

Umrangso is blessed by two magnificent waterfalls, one at Panimur and another at 29 km, Miyungna Daogan .

Panimur Water fall:Panimur is around 30 km distance away from the Umrangso main centre. Here in , the Kopili river turns into a robust water fall, flowing over the rocks as the water column carves out its way and finally surrenders to the pull of gravity and flows down like a frothy white curtain of water.The enchanting surroundings with lush greenery enhance the beauty of the cascading white water. Dimasa people  consider the place as a holy pilgrimage. During the Magh Purnima native people take a holly bath at the falls. Miyungna Daogan water fall : Miyungna Daogan water fall is located in 29 kilo near Kopili Pump House, Umranso. It is a rare example of natural beauty synchronised with the man made beauty.Only a few days back it was dedicated to the people, by the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of  Dima Hasao Autonomous council, Shri Debolal Garlosa. Within a very short period of time it was able to attract many people from different corner of the state for picnic and outing.
